About us
Marmot Electric was born in 1994 when John Cummins III following in the footsteps of John Sr. and John Jr. Set out to build an electrical contracting company that focused on exceptional quality and unwavering trustworthiness. He was soon joined by his brother Joel and the company grew. With a 25 year legacy of custom residential construction Marmot Electric has built a long list of clients in Vail, Beaver Creek, Mountain Star, Spraddle Creek, Cordillera, Squaw Creek, Arrowhead, and Lake Creek. In 2005 Eclipse Automation was formed as a division on Marmot Electric, inc. focusing on Home Automation, Lighting Control, and Electric Shades. Today we are continuing our pursuits with whole home dimming and mechanical control, digitally addressable light fixtures, custom LED installations and Dimming System Upgrades and Retrofits. We look forward to what the future holds and can't wait to be a part of your next project.
