In 1994 John Cummins founded Marmot Electric and began a journey of wiring high-end custom homes in the Vail valley. For 24 years we have continued on that quest. Marmot Electric has had the privilege of being involved in many amazing and iconic projects as we have watched Vail grow as the premier destination for the mountain lifestyle. We have created our own approach to meeting the needs of this unique demographic and have developed an intuition for providing amenities to a homes electrical system to help make that home a one of the most special in the world. As the complexity of these homes has grown, we have seen the need for greater specialization in our own field. For this reason Eclipse Automation has become the brand of our home controls and automation division. We are eagerly seeking new ways to employ the technologies emerging to continue to make these homes among the greatest anywhere.
